Alaric I

(c. 370, died. 410) - king of the Visigoths fro m 395, - the first leader of Germanic tribes, who won Rome. Alari c and his fellow fought as allies in the army of Emperor Theodo sius I in the battle of the usurper Eugene. After the death of Th eodosius the Visigoths rebels broke the previous agreement with Rome and chose Alaric as their king, who came from a family of Balts. In the spring of 395, the army led by Alaric wizygocka started by Thrace and Macedonia to Athens, which they have probably captured and looted.
